We are glad to welcome you to the site of our training organisation "The Ancient Martial Arts of Russia". It was established in 2002 as an iniative by the Ministry of Justice and one of its founders is Mikhail Ryabko. The main objectives of our organization are:
1. To reestablish and further develop the ancient martial arts of Russia "Systema".
2. To prepare Special Units of the Russian Ministry of Justice and the special units of various other departments for operational duties in extreme environments.
Here you will find information about: our organisation, activities, Systema schools, training methods, class locations and seminar listings for Russia and abroad. There is also information about international Systema schools, video clips and other useful information.
Systema is a universal method of teaching and educating both adults and children in the form of physical, pshychological and spiritual exercise. It can be used for training any person regardless of sex, age, physical condition, nationality and beliefs.
Systema training will be interesting not only for professoinals (security, police, bodyguards, military personnel) but also for people without previous training. Our students include lawyers, businessmen, doctors, athletes, teachers, IT personnel and priests - thus showing the wide ranging appeal of the art.We will be very glad to answer your questions and see you at our training sessions in Systema.

Fear Elimination
Each year Mikhail Ryabko receives many questions from martial artists all over the world, asking about how Systema can help them to control fear or overcome fear. This is a very honest question and we know that fear can cause many problems for people in life. Fortunetly, Systema is a martial art that is designed to counter fear on many levels. So in this indepth seminar Mikhail and his team of instructors are going to show people how to detect, diagnose and defeat fear. The subject for this new Systema seminar is fear elimination.
Areas to be covered:
Identifying the roots of fear
Understanding how fear shows itself in practitioner's movement, in their breathing and in the response to specific situations
A look at how fear effects the body and the psyche during the physical confrontation
Specialized Systemaexercises designed by Mikhail to undo the tensionand free the body
Team work to remove fear from the group
How to detect and diagnose fear in other people's breathing and movement
How to use Systema striking to charge the body and overcome the emotions
Elimination of fear from deeper levels of the psyche and the organs
Breathing exercises to strengthen the psyche and increase self confidence
How to work under pressure using tactics that are effective and simple to apply
How to calm down or handle an opponent who carries alot of aggression or fear
A look at the movements andforms of impactthat create fear or antagonise the opponent
*Please note that there will also be the opportunity for individuals attending the seminar to discuss with Mikhail their own tensions and fears, and Mikhail can show specific exercises to promote relaxation and inner calm.
The seminar will also involve a range of demonstrations as well asboth group and individual discussions.

2010 SUMMIT OF MASTERS
The best opportunity for the most accelerated and enjoyable training would be the upcoming Summit of Masters Camp held from August 16th though 21st 2010.
