Russian Martial Arts SYSTEMA by Mikhail Ryabko

We are glad to welcome you to the site of our training organisation "The Ancient Martial Arts of Russia". It was established in 2002 as an iniative by the Ministry of Justice and one of its founders is Mikhail Ryabko. The main objectives of our organization are:
1. To reestablish and further develop the ancient martial arts of Russia "Systema".
2. To prepare Special Units of the Russian Ministry of Justice and the special units of various other departments for operational duties in extreme environments.


Here you will find information about: our organisation, activities, Systema schools, training methods, class locations and seminar listings for Russia and abroad. There is also information about international Systema schools, video clips and other useful information.

Systema is a universal method of teaching and educating both adults and children in the form of physical, pshychological and spiritual exercise. It can be used for training any person regardless of sex, age, physical condition, nationality and beliefs.

Systema training will be interesting not only for professoinals (security, police, bodyguards, military personnel) but also for people without previous training. Our students include lawyers, businessmen, doctors, athletes, teachers, IT personnel and priests - thus showing the wide ranging appeal of the art.We will be very glad to answer your questions and see you at our training sessions in Systema.

Mr. Andrey Karimov is NOT currently an instructor or an affiliate of Mikhail Ryabko or Vladimir Vasiliev and does not represent Systema HQ Moscow or Toronto in any way.

Mr. Karimov’s experience lies in Russian folk culture and traditions and thus is not related to Systema Russian Martial Art as presented by Mikhail Ryabko.

His actions have been unethical and inappropriate towards Mikhail Ryabko’s and other Russian organizations and there are official documents that illustrate this. These documents (in Russian language) and additional information are available to anyone interested. Please contact: ryabko@mail.ru

Aran Dharmeratnam a Systema teacher who was trained personally by Mikhail Ryabko has just released a specialised Ebook on the area of how to avoid danger and how to understand and control the situations involving hostile people and different types of  attackers. This is very  important material for students interested in realistic training for survival and for people who work in security or law enforcement. Aran is well known Systema teacher living in UK and he reveals many interesting principles on physical and psychological areas of survival in this book. Some of this information has never been released before.
